MAXIMUM ENTERTAINMENT: Greatest show in Heaven, Hell or Earth
I've spent almost 20,000 hours in the Entertainment Industry at some level. I'm primarily the Orchestra Affairs Executive for THE #1 Google Page Ranked Song For All Seasons (www.groups.yahoo.com/group/songforallseasons), but I'm also a porn and blog publisher (here and www.flickr.com/photos/Vallin). I majored in Industrial Relations and Psychology (I KNOW you want it, bitch...yewwwwww NEED it!)
When I was in NC Governor's School summer 1978 (studiying Freud, Music, and Abstract Algebra), one of my teachers referred to Emerson Lake & Palmer (my idols and mentors) as "mere entertainment", blithely ignorant of the fact that Works, Vol, Iand Renaissance's A Song For All Seasons were my personal inspirations that put me in that classroom at Salem College in June 1978.Since then we've witnessed the academic canonization of Philip Glass, Andy Warhol, Ken Burns, Wynton Marsalis, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, David Bowie, Madonna, and Lady Gaga. Maybe Aaron Copland, Leonardo, Caravaggio, William Shakespeare, Alexandre Dumas, G.F. Handel, and Carl Orff were onto something!
